【课程名称】 《计算机辅助制造》(18/1学分,春季开课)

[Course Name] Computer Aided Manufacturing (18 course hours/1 credits; Spring Semester)

【教学目的】 数控加工是现代制造的重要组成部分。它是通过计算机控制刀具做精确的切削加工运动,但是数控手工编程建立在复杂的数值运算之上,只能完成一些简单的数控程序,对较复杂的零件加工就显得无能为力了。而计算机辅助制造(CAM)可以使一切问题变得迎刃而解,它利用数学工具和计算机图形技术,把人们常用的加工工艺融入其中,给数控加工带来了全新的制造模式,不仅解决了编程计算的难题,还担负起编制数控加工工艺的重任,逐步形成了具有数控加工和编程特点的自动编程工艺体系。学生通过对自动编程技术的学习可以对当今世界数控加工有一个全新的认识,能掌握一种实用数控加工技能。

[Course Objects] Numerical control (NC) machining is an important part of modern manufacturing. The accurate cutting motion is accomplished when the tool is controlled by computer. But NC manual programming is based on complex numerical calculations, which can only completes some simple numerical procedures, and make the more complex parts machining become powerless. All the problems can be solved with computer aided manufacturing (CAM). CAM uses the mathematical tools and computer graphics technology and integrates common process, which brings a new manufacturing model. It not only solves the problem of programming calculations also assumes the task of preparing the NC machining process, and gradually formed a process system of automatic programming with NC machining and programming features .Through the study of the automatic programming techniques, students can have a new understanding of NC machining in today's world, and master a practical NC machining skills.

【教学内容】 本课程内容主要分四部分。第一部分讲授概论,使学生了解计算机辅助制造技术的发展现状、主要研究对象以及计算机辅助制造的主要内容;第二部分讲授CATIA的自动 NC 编程的基本操作,学生应学会加工仿真的设置、数控车削和数控铣削的加工建模方法、刀具的设置以及后置处理;第三部分讲授数控车削的若干加工方式包括粗车、精车、切槽、车螺纹等;第四部分讲授2.5轴铣削的若干加工方式包括粗铣、铣槽、铣平面、铣轮廓、孔系加工等;第五部分讲授3轴铣削的若干加工方式包括粗铣、笔式清根、螺旋铣、等高线加工、投影加工等。

[Teaching Content] This course is divided into four parts. The first part is introduction. Through this part, the students should understand the development and status, main research object and main course content of CAM. The second part is the basic operation of the automatic NC programming based on CATIA software. Students should learn machining simulation settings, NC lathing machining, NC milling machining modeling, tool settings and post-processing. The third part consists of some processing methods for NC lathing machining, including rough lathing, refined lathing, lathing groove and threading. The fourth part consists of some processing methods for 2.5-axis milling machining, including rough milling, refined milling, groove milling, flat milling, milling and hole milling. The fifth part consists of some processing methods for 3-axis milling machining, including rough milling, pen type clean-up, helical milling, contour milling and projection processing.

【授课对象】本课程的授课对象为mg视讯类的本科生。本课程要求学生掌握CATIACAD建模技能,并具备一定的制造技术基础知识和数控机床编程知识。

[Target Students] Undergraduates majored in Mechanical Engineering.This course requires students to master the CAD modeling skills of CATIA software, moreover have some basic knowledge of manufacturing technology and NC programming knowledge.
